Wear it Purple 2025

RMIT is proud to celebrate Wear It Purple 2025 with the theme: Bold Voices, Bright Futures. This year's theme echos RMIT's commitment to amplifying the voices of the LGBTIQA+ communities to ensure they thrive in everything they do.

Wear it Purple Day, Friday 29 August 2025, is an annual celebration dedicated to empowering LGBTIQA+ youth across Australia to dream big and express their passion and pride. On this day, everyone is encouraged to wear purple to show their support.

RMIT has a longstanding tradition of fostering an inclusive environment where students and staff can thrive. This year, in the lead-up to Wear it Purple Day, RMIT and RUSU are hosting several events across multiple campuses to celebrate LGBTIQA+ youth at RMIT.

So come along and join us in celebrating Wear it Purple Day!
